If you’re a fan of Rod Stewart‘s late-’60s and early-’70s eras, there’s some good news and some bad news.

Stewart, currently on a solo tour, called in to ( station) WZLX‘s Carter Alan earlier today (December 2) and talked about two potential reunions.

So, let’s start with the bad news: his much-hyped reunion with Jeff Beck.  Not happening: “Well, we seem to have lost contact with each other, sadly. Jeff’s manager was the guy who was getting us together, but he’s fired the manager since then, so that conduit has been closed off.”

Which leads us to the good news: “I think we have got much more of a chance of getting the Faces back together, in fact, Ronnie [Wood]’s office is talking to my people, and we’re ear-marking 2015.”  So it appears that the Jeff Beck Group/Faces reunion tour that he was talking about earlier this year was just a good idea.

Listen to the entire interview at WZLX’s website.
