The Dallas Cowboys suffered a devastating loss to the Saints last night in New Orleans. Steve Kemble has all the details in his Ride’em Cowboy Report this morning!
Ugh! What a horrible game! There’s really not much to say about the Cowboys’ performance yesterday. You’ve gotta wonder what they were up to before the game. Steve loved the tweet from the Dallas Morning News’ David Moore:
It normally takes people 10 to 12 hours of drinking on Bourbon Street to look as bad as the Cowboys did in just 3 hours at the Superdome.

What was a horrible game for us set a new NFL record by the Saints. They made 40 first downs in one game. That has never happened in an NFL game before.
Tony Romo is statistically one of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL. Romo doesn’t win games on his own, and he also doesn’t lose games on his own. What does he need to fill in the gaps? Perhaps Jason Garrett needs to bring back the mock turtlenecks again.
Tony Romo’s post-game interview suits drive Steve Kemble crazy. While the suits are an improvement on the backwards ballcaps and t-shirts, his collared shirts do not fit his neck. The gap in the neck is ill-fitting and looks like he’s wearing his dad’s shirts. Fashion tip: buy the exact neck collar size.
As it is Veterans Day, we’ve have to give a nod to Cowboys legendary quarterback and Navy veteran Roger Staubach was at the game. While he might not have wanted to watch last night’s game, he has some great memories of New Orleans. He won both of his Super Bowl rings in the Superdome in 1971 and 1977. He was at the game as a part of the USAA’s Salute To Service campaign.
The Cowboys get a week off to lick their wounds. Next week is a bye week, but we’ll be back to face the Giants the following weekend. That’s a must win game for the Cowboys. Ironically, we’re still tied for first place in the NFC East.
