The court battle continued yesterday, over who is responsible for the King of Pop’s death.
Jackson’s family is suing AEG Live for $290 million dollars, because they say the entertainment company should have checked into Dr. Conrad Murray better.
Murray, you remember, was Jackson’s personal doctor at the time he died from an accidental drug overdose. He was convicted in 2011 of involuntary manslaughter, after giving Jackson an overdose of the anesthetic propofol, as he tried to sleep during preperations for his upcoming AEG promoted “This Is It” concerts in London.
Jackson’s family claims AEG should have seen Murray’s history, in addition to the large amount of debt he was in, they would have also seen that he had closed his practice, just to take care of Michael.
AEG attorney Marvin Putnam says the opposite, “Michael Jackson made some bad choices. You can’t blame someone else for his bad choices.”
