The Texas Rangers will have to wait at least one more day for their shot at the first ever World Series Title for the franchise. Game 6 scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed until Thursday after expected heavy rains in the St. Louis area gave Major League Baseball concern to even start the game.

The Rangers lead the series 3-2 and are looking to win their first championship in the franchises 39 years in Texas.
The forecast is what caused the MLB and Cardinals and Rangers officials to get together at 2:00pm E.T. to discuss what to do. With rain likely and getting more likely as the evening progresses the consensus was to delay the start of the game until tomorrow.
