Charlie Sheen has reportedly signed a deal for a new sitcom with Lionsgate Television and a bidding war is underway set to make him more money than ever.
As with most stories involving Charlie, the details are a bit hazy.
“Charlie has inked a deal with Lionsgate Television to create and star in a new sitcom,” an insider tells RadarOnline. “Charlie’s character will be very similar to the one he played on Two And a Half Men, however the show will be a lot racier. Networks and cable are bidding on the show right now, with TBS being the front-runner.” Lionsgate had no comment, and unfortunately for that insider, a spokesman for TBS later denied that the network is in any negotiations with Charlie – leaving the veracity of the report in question.
Also in the rumor mill, Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre plans to kill off Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper.
In Charlie Sheen news that has been confirmed, he’s now single again after remaining ‘goddess’ Natalie Kenly moved out of his house within the last few days. Charlie reportedly said that he’s better as a single guy anyway.
