Besides getting married and getting un-married the Simpson sisters, Ashlee and Jessica, haven’t really been doing much of anything lately.
Jessica already has one line aimed at adults, but told Women’s Wear Daily, “Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”
For her part, Ashlee told WWD, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.” [photogallerylink id=14986]
Now tween girls all over this great nation can get their ditsy rocker chick on. I guess we can all be thankful it’s not the Kardashian sisters launching a mini-me clothing line.
